Instant sharing thanks to certification

The API Certified Technology Provider certification enables Skidata to offer its customers, generally car park operators, a ready-made infrastructure for data sharing. For car parks managed via Skidata, activating data delivery to the Open Data Hub takes just a few clicks. There is no need for complex configurations or customised developments: integration is immediate, scalable and conforms to the Open Data Hub’s documented standards.

Being an API Certified Technology Provider means:

  • Providing customers with a system that is ready to share data with Open Data Hub and other third parties.
  • Guarantee quality, security and continuity in data flow.
  • Simplifying the addition of new collection points.

Public car parks connected through Skidata

Thanks to this certification, Skidata has activated real-time sharing of parking space availability data for the mobility centres in Brunico and Bressanone, with many other facilities currently being activated.

These facilities share their data with the Open Data Hub via Skidata’s software infrastructure, making useful information accessible to apps, tourism portals, and mobility services.

Why become a Certified Technology Provider?

Becoming an API Certified Technology Provider means much more than just obtaining a technical certification; it means entering a digital ecosystem where technology companies can offer their customers an immediate and tangible service for intelligent data sharing.
Thanks to integration with the Open Data Hub, technology providers can quickly activate new data points in a standardised way, without incurring additional development or reconfiguration costs. This enhances the value of their software, transforming it into tools that can generate innovation, visibility, and new business opportunities.

It’s not just about interoperability; it’s also about networking with other local and international players and developing new services.
